In Delhi’s Sardarjung Hospital robotic surgeries will be handled soon

Safdarjung Hospital is one of the largest government hospitals in India. It is 1,600-bed multi-forte hospital.  Now in the Safdarjung Hospital high-tech 3D laparoscopies will be established and this will make the hospital, first central government run hospital to have such high-tech facility for treating advanced urology cancer.
The free surgeries will be provided to poor people according to the Centre of Excellence in the uro-oncology department. The hospital officials say that these advanced cures will be available at the hospital’s new super-specialty block. The new super specialty block will be initiated in July month of this year.
According to the heads, the department of Urology and Renal transplant said that as poor patients agonize from renal and urological illnesses, now they will not have to wait months together and further they will not have to pay money because the center of excellence in Uro-oncology department has initiated negligible intrusive operations.
This will be very first government-run hospital to deliver Robotics surgery that too free of cost to poor people. In private hospital, these kinds of operations cost to the tune of some Rs 10 lakh.
Hospital’s doctors told that once the robotic surgery will be started, the waiting time will come down expressively.
